Editions of Ten – prints now available

So much to write about, so little time. Hope to have a full post about my trip to Maine up this week but in the meantime  you can visit Corduroy and check out the prints from their Editions of Ten show that opened on September 3rd.

My pieces for the show are wood type compositions printed on a special handmade paper… more to come on that as well.

that’s the hookup

Just got word that the blog side of Proletariat is back on line after a brief hiatus. Check out That’s The Hookup for updates on street art, boston events, and random internet fun stuff. While you’re there visit the webstore and pick up one of the recent Repeat Press/Proletariat collab prints… less than 10 left!

charley harper

Kate at For Me, For You posted this Charley Harper illustration yesterday, so good! Alex and I were snooping around in a hunting store recently, looking at animal heads and vintage ammo packaging, and they had an old Harper poster from his National Parks series. I was thinking of trying to buy it off the wall but then I found charleyharperprints.com, which has tons of his work for sale and will probably be seeing an order from me soon.

Jeff Canham

Jeff Canham gets a lot of (well-deserved) love from various blogs but I was just scrolling through the posts at Design Milk and saw that they posted some of his work a few days ago. Too good not to repost.
Jeff, if you ever want to run some letterpress prints get in touch!

chris piascik at chorus gallery

CP_Chorus_web

I have no idea how to pronounce Chris Piascik’s last name, but I do have a sweet gocco print of his that I picked up at Grand a while back. His upcoming show at Chorus looks like it will include a series of larger paintings that as well as the smaller prints that many people are familiar with.

The show opens this Saturday, June 13th, with a reception from 8-11pm. The past two openings have been a blast so be sure to check it out.

Grant Hamilton Polaroids

I remember seeing some of Grant Hamilton’s polaroid photos a while ago and Jeff from BOOOOOOOM just posted a link to his “Geometries” series on Flickr. I love the composition on these, definitely worth a second look. Thanks Jeff!
